"Hmm?!" Cecilia hummed playfully. "It's so cold." She took his arm and snuggled up close. It was much warmer.
Ian's entire body went stiff. He didn't relax until they stepped into the restaurant and she let go of his arm.
The two of them returned after eating wontons.
Cecilia was freezing. She huddled by the radiator, rubbing her hands together to warm them.
"There's a bathhouse in the backyard downstairs. You just have to register your room number with the clerk to go for a soak in the baths."
"Really? I'm going for a soak." Cecilia casually grabbed his bar of soap and shampoo and headed out.
When she passed the front desk, she saw it was the same young man as before. Suppressing her disgust, Cecilia approached him. "Hello, I'm here to register for the bathhouse."
"Wait," the clerk said, pulling out a logbook.
He had Cecilia fill in her room number and name.
Cecilia did as she was told, and the man remarked, "Getting all clean to be devoured, huh? Tsk."
