Bored, Cecilia Adler sat at the head of the bed and casually picked up one of his old books.
They had stayed out too late last night, and she'd been busy since early this morning. Now that she could finally relax, her eyelids felt heavy. She turned a single page before her head tilted to one side and she fell asleep. When she woke, a cotton quilt was draped over her. She sat up, covering her mouth as she let out a soft yawn. "Ian, how long was I asleep?"
Ian Quincy glanced at his watch and turned to face her. "About two hours."
"So you haven't moved for two hours?"
"Mm."
Cecilia Adler was impressed by his patience. "Want to go for a walk? Stretch our legs."
"It's snowing."
