After dinner, Cecilia Adler did the dishes and urged Ian Quincy into the guest room to study.
She cleaned up the dining room and kitchen, mopped the living room and hallway as well, and then went into the bathroom to wash up and rest.
When she woke up the next day, she was the only one in the room.
