Vivian Lee's heart leaped into her throat. "You... what do you want?"
Ian Quincy said nothing, his gaze fixed on her.
Vivian Lee pursed her lips. "What are you looking at?! I know I'm prettier than my sister, but you can't just..."
Ian Quincy scoffed. 'Where does she get this confidence? If only I had that kind of self-assurance.' "Has no one ever told you that your looks are a bit... rugged?"
It was the first time Vivian Lee had been called rugged, and she flushed with anger. "You—you have no taste! You don't know the first thing about beauty."
Ian Quincy's lips curved into a faint smile, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "You're right, I don't know much about appreciating beauty. But I'm an expert at spotting ugliness."
Vivian Lee exploded. "You! You believe I won't tell my sister that there are two of you in there?"
