It'd be better if she moved in with her in-laws right away. Save me the trouble.' When he opened his eyes again, he noticed a badge and a comb on the coffee table.
They just looked familiar.
"I feel like I've seen this badge somewhere before."
Cecilia Adler suddenly recalled her grandmother's words from the letter and quickly put the items away, making an excuse. "I found them while tidying up a room. They probably belong to my father-in-law."
This badge looked very similar to the one Mr. Quincy was wearing in the photo hanging on the wall in the Quillan family's living room.
'Mentioning him was a safe bet.'
