Cecilia Adler saw her out.
At the door, Vivian Lee whispered in her ear, "Let me tell you something. Ian Quincy can't perform in bed."
"What does that mean?" Cecilia Adler didn't understand.
Vivian Lee couldn't believe Cecilia didn't understand the ways of men and women, so she explained, "It means that after he kisses you, there's... other stuff. That's what makes you a real husband and wife. You just watch tonight. All he can do is get your face all slobbery."
Cecilia Adler's face flushed red. 'Where did Vivian learn so much?' "You sound pretty experienced. Was there someone else before Felix Flynn?" Otherwise, she couldn't explain the scene she'd witnessed in the bamboo grove.
"Don't you talk nonsense," Vivian snapped.
Cecilia shot back just as sharply, "You know perfectly well whether I'm talking nonsense or not! And please, stay out of my business."
She didn't care at all whether Ian Quincy could perform or not.
