Cecilia Adler: "..."
She bit her tongue and did as he asked. Standing by the bed, it was awkward for her to do anything, so she gestured for him to move further in. Kneeling on the bed to massage him, she asked, "Is this okay?"
"Mhm, a little faster."
Aunt Goldsmith, passing by, heard the commotion inside and blushed beet red.
'I can't believe the master's son is so spineless.'
'Letting a woman get on top of him.'
...
Cecilia Adler was speechless. She wondered if he'd had a rough time at Uncle Shaw's and was now trying to take it out on her, deliberately picking a fight.
But on second thought, that seemed unlikely.
He wasn't that petty.
She said, "Ian, I'm planning to take Grandma back to her hometown in the next couple of days."
The business with the shop wouldn't be resolved anytime soon.
She couldn't just make Grandma wait for her indefinitely.
Ian Quincy mumbled a reply, "Mhm, I'll go with you."
"You don't have to."
Ian Quincy didn't agree.
