Ian Quincy's bicycle blocked the path Vivian Lee had to take.
The area was dimly lit, and she was already frightened and in a daze.
As she got closer, she realized her way was blocked.
She looked up blankly.
The young man before her was half-shrouded in shadow.
His eyes were sharp, his face stern.
He radiated a bone-chilling coldness.
She shivered again and stammered, "Wh-what do you want?"
"I know everything you've been up to. Felix Flynn isn't a reliable target, so you've set your sights on my wife's father? Planning on becoming my wife's stepmother? You think any man will fall for your so-called charm?"
"You... you..." Vivian Lee's face flushed crimson.
'How could he possibly know what I'm thinking?'
Her defense was weak and pale. "I... I didn't."
"Behave yourself next time. If you dare mess with my family again, I'll beat you to death." After his warning, Ian Quincy yanked on the handlebars, turning the front wheel of his bike to clear a path. "Get lost!"
