Cedric Grant was shocked. She was actually calling Theodore Quinn. Now, he didn't even have a chance to explain or salvage the situation.
Burning with rage, he strode toward Jean Jarvis. "Jean Jarvis, you crazy woman..."
Before he could finish his sentence, he saw the phone in Jean Jarvis's hand fall to the ground. Her upper body, which had been leaning against the sofa, suddenly slid off and slumped sideways onto the floor, motionless.
