Aurora Sterling followed Donovan to the end of the hall, to a classroom with a sign that read "Senior Class 10." Before they even went inside, Aurora could hear faint chatter and laughter, along with the subtle scent of food.
She raised an eyebrow. 'Just as I thought, a pretty relaxed class.'
Aurora had expected Donovan to lead her straight into the classroom, but he stopped at the door and turned to look at her.
"The college entrance exams are just over a month away," Donovan said, his voice laced with a warning as he looked at Aurora sternly. "I don't know why you're transferring in at a time like this, but I hope you're here to study."
Aurora nodded. "I am here to study."
