Damien Valerius had picked Aurora Sterling up directly from Simone Holt's school acceptance party. Since it was just a simple celebration held at a restaurant and attended mostly by ordinary people, Aurora hadn't dressed extravagantly. She wore a clean, simple, unbranded white short-sleeved dress with her hair in a ponytail, giving her a sweet and demure look.
Damien Valerius, meanwhile, was dressed in a white T-shirt and gray casual pants. What no one else knew, however, was that this simple, seemingly unbranded outfit had actually been custom-made for him by a famous international designer. Every line was cut to perfectly follow the contours of his physique. In other words, no one but Damien Valerius could have worn these seemingly simple clothes to such perfection.
Of course, there was no way the sales assistants in the store would know any of this. To them, Damien Valerius's clothes were just cheap knockoffs from a street stall, with no discernible brand.
