Damien Valerius clearly didn't understand the sales associate's implication. He simply disliked the man's tone. However, remembering he was currently on a shopping date with Aurora Sterling, he reined in some of the coldness in his eyes. Turning to Aurora beside him, he asked softly, "Do you want to take a picture?"
Aurora Sterling shook her head. "No. Why would I want to take a picture here?"
'Honestly, I have more clothes in my walk-in closet than this place, and they're better-looking, too. There's really nothing worth taking a picture of.'
"We're not taking pictures," Damien Valerius said coldly to the annoying sales associate, turning his attention back to the dress he had picked out for Aurora.
"No, no... pictures..." The sales associate stared at Damien Valerius, completely baffled. 'What's with these two? Did they not get what I meant? Or are they just playing dumb with me?'
