Because of the intense, rowdy, and ridiculous farce, the birthday banquet—one of particular importance to Jameson Valerius—came to a hasty end.
After what had happened, the guests couldn't possibly stay. Who would have thought that attending a birthday banquet would mean witnessing a Valerius family catfight between the in-laws? They had even seen Mrs. Valerius naked—it was so outrageous, no one would believe it if they told the story.
The guests began to file out in an orderly manner. Even though they should have shown some restraint before leaving the Valerius estate, some simply couldn't help but gossip about the incident as they departed.
Jameson Valerius's face was grim as he shot Liam Valerius a completely emotionless glare, then strode swiftly out of the banquet hall.
"Dad..." Liam Valerius took two steps forward to follow, wanting to say something, but Jameson Valerius gave him no such opportunity. He had two attendants move to block Liam's path.
