The next day, after lunch, Yvonne Vaughn arrived at the villa with the matsutake mushrooms and other nourishing ingredients she had bought.
In the living room, Yvonne Vaughn proudly presented the ingredients she had for making soup, beaming at Aurora Sterling. "Didn't you say you wanted to practice cooking and make soup for Damien? So when I was out shopping yesterday, I made a special trip to buy all of this. It's all great stuff for soups."
As she spoke, Yvonne picked up a rather large matsutake mushroom. "See this mushroom? I bought it from the very best mushroom shop. With this, you can make seafood and matsutake soup for Damien. It's not oily at all, and the flavor is delicious and savory."
Just then, Ms. Sutton came out from the kitchen. Seeing the large matsutake in Yvonne's hand, her eyes widened. "A mushroom that big, how do you even eat it? Slice it and dip it in soy sauce?"
Yvonne shook her head. "Do we have any shrimp or other seafood in the house?"
