Zachary Redgrave's mother patted his back. "Your grandmother is right. Hannah Hale is your aunt now. Go on, address her properly."
"Hannah Hale, say something, damn it."
Hannah Hale was struggling to stifle her laughter. Before a sound could escape her throat, she heard Nathan Redgrave speak up from beside her, "Address her."
The man's calm voice carried a tone that brooked no argument.
Zachary Redgrave had been afraid of his uncle since childhood. He never dared to disobey; if Nathan Redgrave said go east, he wouldn't dare go west.
After an epic internal battle, he reluctantly and grudgingly managed to say, "Aunt."
Watching the punk grit his teeth, fuming but too cowardly to say a word, Hannah Hale had to suppress her laughter so hard she felt she might actually injure herself.
The large family finished their dinner in a harmonious atmosphere, after which Nathan Redgrave and Hannah Hale headed back.
