Laura Lowell sat down on the sofa with a faint smile. "I'm afraid I can't promise you that. Zachary Redgrave already ate a bunch when we were at home."
Dr. Shaw frowned slightly. "Suddenly, I really feel like punching him. He's always showing up at our place for no reason."
There was a sudden knock on the door. Aiden Shaw put down the cookie in his hand and called out, "Come in."
Hearing his voice, the head nurse urgently pushed the door open. "Dr. Shaw, you need to come take a look, quick. A patient from a car crash was just brought in. Their condition is pretty serious; they might need surgery right away."
"Okay, I'm on my way."
After speaking, Aiden Shaw turned to Laura Lowell. "If I have to do surgery, it'll take a long time. You should head home by yourself later. Be safe on your way."
