Hannah Hale looked at his straight-faced act and teased with a laugh, "Your standing was never that high to begin with. Don't act like you're God's gift to the world."
"That's it, our friendship is over. I must have had eight lifetimes of terrible luck to get saddled with you two."
With a slight smile, Aiden Shaw picked up his chopsticks and plucked some meat from the steaming hot pot for Laura Lowell. "This poisoning incident was planned by Yvonne Sloan and Raina Lynn together."
Although Laura Lowell had already suspected as much, she still didn't want to believe that a close friend from her childhood would try to harm her.
"Yvonne Sloan... she... confessed?"
"Mhm. The little girl who sold the flowers is the daughter of one of Yvonne Sloan's friends. Yvonne just confessed in person, too."
