Laura Lowell's friend sat up in bed, smiling as she shook her head. "I'm fine. I just spoke with the doctor. She said I can be discharged tomorrow, as long as I rest up at home."
"How can that be okay? You had a miscarriage."
Laura Lowell sat down worriedly by the bed and tucked the blanket around her friend.
"The doctor said it's fine. Besides, my husband already bought a plane ticket. He lands tomorrow morning. He'll be home to take care of me, so don't you worry."
"He doesn't blame you, does he?"
