Hannah Hale nearly choked to death on the soup dumpling in her mouth. 'Why would she suddenly ask that?'
"Um, Mom, we're both really busy with work. We haven't really considered it yet."
Hannah Hale was worried Nathan Redgrave would get angry and refuse to keep up the act. 'What if he just blurts out that we're divorcing in a year, and that having a baby is completely out of the question?'
Nathan Redgrave looked at Hannah Hale, his deep, dark eyes holding a complex emotion she couldn't quite understand. "As for having a child, we'll give it serious consideration. As long as Hannah is willing, I'm on board."
Hannah Hale watched Nathan Redgrave, lost in thought. She really couldn't figure out what he was thinking. 'What did he mean by "as long as she's willing"...?'
'He's on board?'
'Wasn't he just dying to cut ties with her?'
'Weren't he and that Fiona Keating hitting it off, all tangled up in some ambiguous relationship?'
