Hearing the bursts of laughter coming from the office, the young female doctor was furious.
Usually, wherever she went, a crowd of male doctors and nurses would trail after her.
Today, however, she was standing there all alone, muttering to herself.
'What should I do? Should I go in, or should I wait for them to invite me? In all these years, I've never been given the cold shoulder like this.'
