Zachary Preston glanced at Rona Langdon. She hurriedly said, "You're right. A daughter of the Preston Family isn't someone to be bullied so easily. I'll make sure to get justice for Vera tomorrow."
Zachary Preston said meaningfully, "Rona, I'm very happy you think so. Vera is wonderful. Having a daughter like her is a gift from heaven."
Rona Langdon would never agree with such a statement. In her eyes, there wasn't a single good thing about Vera Xavier. 'She's just here to collect a debt from me!'
But she was feeling incredibly guilty right now, so of course, she didn't dare to refute Zachary Preston.
Vera Xavier looked at her sullen face and raised an eyebrow. 'I'd like to see how Rona Langdon is going to explain this to the Kane Family.'
'Knowing her, she probably won't even go.'
'And knowing those scumbags from the Kane Family, there's no way they'll let this go so easily.'
