"Mom and Dad miss you. Come on home," said Archie Summers from the other end of the line. As he spoke, he gestured for Louise Jordan to pinpoint Mika Summers's exact location.
Louise Jordan nodded and gave Archie Summers an "OK" sign.
Mika Summers's expression darkened. She guiltily searched for an excuse. "Archie, it's not a good time for me to come back right now. How about I visit Mom and Dad another day?"
"Mika, are you hiding something from me? If you are, you have to tell me. You need to remember that in this world, family is the only support you can rely on, the only ones who can help you."
"Archie, what could I possibly be hiding from you? Stop making wild guesses."
Archie Summers sighed. He knew that if Mika didn't want to talk, he wouldn't get anything out of her, no matter how much he pressed.
"Archie, I know you're just looking out for me, but I'm grown up now. I don't want to trouble you anymore. I'll handle my own affairs. I won't be a burden to you."
