Seeing Mika sulking and threatening to leave, Jasmine Warren patiently asked, "Mika, if you don't want to live here, you have to at least give me a reason."
Mika simply lowered her head, her eyes red as she bit her lip, saying nothing.
'Am I supposed to tell her that Tristan Grayson gave me this villa as a handout from *that woman*? No, I could never say something like that out loud.'
"Come on, don't be upset. So what if someone lived here before? It's no big deal. I live in a rental too, you know. Mika, you have no idea how much dirtier my place was originally. But now I've got it sparkling clean."
Hearing Jasmine's words, Mika's brow furrowed. 'How can she say it's the same? If anyone else had lived here, I wouldn't care if it was dirty. But it's precisely because *she* lived here that I feel like this whole place is filthy.'
"You go wait downstairs. I'll take care of the cleaning!" Seeing that Mika was still unhappy, Jasmine could only smile and push her out of the room.
