"To hell with 'moving on'! You're my woman! Who else could you possibly want to be with?!"
Tiana was stunned. He had never lost his temper or cursed in front of her before. To her, Leo had always been a gentle, well-mannered man.
"I'll have someone buy you some clothes and bring them over. For now, go wash up and eat." Leo Joyce knew he'd lost his composure. He stood up anxiously, turning his back to Tiana. After rushing out the words, he walked out of the room.
She didn't snap out of it until she saw Leo leave and shut the door behind him.
She wiped away her tears, washed up in the bathroom, and then sat back down on the bed. Staring at the meal, she suddenly realized she had no appetite.
It wasn't because the food had gone cold. It was because she started remembering the time she and Leo had lived together.
For years, she had forced herself not to think about it, to forget. But now, after suddenly seeing Leo again, those memories came flooding back, overwhelming her.
