Leo asked with a hurt look, "Why can't I?"
"I don't know, it's just... no. I have to go. That's it." With that, Tiana ran toward the front door.
She was so fast that before Leo could even get up, she had already opened the door and left.
Annoyed, he stood up and grabbed his keys from the coffee table, ready to give chase. Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a woman's handbag on the table's lower shelf.
The sight made him even more frustrated. 'That silly girl,' he thought. 'Is she really that scared of me?'
'Scared enough to forget her own purse.'
He snatched the purse and ran for the door. Once outside, he saw her about to leave the villa's main gate. He sprinted to where the cars were parked, jumped into the closest one, and drove off in pursuit.
