When her hand was suddenly grabbed, Tiana struggled in a panic. But the more she resisted, the tighter Leo's grip became. She finally gave up and let him hold her hand, and his grip slowly relaxed, becoming gentle.
When they went downstairs, the living room was empty.
Tiana Grayson watched Leo Joyce take the dishes to the kitchen as if he knew his way around perfectly. Then, he poured a cup of milk tea and handed it to her.
He moved with the ease of someone in their own home.
"It's your favorite—strawberry," he said with a roguish charm, leaning in close to her face as she stared blankly at the cup.
Tiana Grayson snapped out of her daze and nodded, a little embarrassed. "Thank you."
"Tiana, when are we going back?"
"Ah… COUGH! COUGH!" Tiana had just taken a sip of her milk tea when Leo's question startled her, and the tea itself was scalding hot.
