Seeing Archie Lockwood standing there, unmoving and silent with a dark expression on his face, Eleanor Bishop panicked and shot up from the sofa. She started toward him, "Um... I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."
"Watch out!" Seeing the woman suddenly stand up, Archie Lockwood's face grew even darker. He strode quickly toward Eleanor Bishop, reaching out to catch her.
"Ah..." She had been moving just fine, but Archie Lockwood's reminder made Eleanor Bishop suddenly remember her leg. When she tried to take another step, it felt as heavy as lead. She couldn't move an inch, and her whole body pitched forward.
With his quick reflexes, Archie Lockwood stepped forward just in time to catch her before she hit the ground, holding her tightly in his arms.
Eleanor Bishop's heart was pounding out of her chest, but she still remembered to apologize to Archie Lockwood. "I'm sorry. Please don't be mad at me."
