Archie Lockwood had to take Shirley Lockwood to register at her new school, so he left with her before Eleanor Bishop woke up.
Eleanor Bishop didn't wake up until a little after 10:00 AM.
The moment she woke, she saw a woman standing by her bed. Startled, she scrambled to sit up, pulling the blanket over herself. Her face was pale as she asked, displeased, "What are you doing here?"
Hearing this, Shannon Vance smiled faintly. "Miss Bishop, you're finally awake."
"Miss Vance, what are you doing here?" Eleanor Bishop was deeply displeased. This woman had entered while she was asleep and had been standing by her bed for who knows how long. As a result, her tone was anything but polite.
"You seem surprised to see me, Miss Bishop," Shannon Vance said with a slow, cold smile, turning to carefully inspect the room's decor.
Eleanor Bishop gave a sarcastic smile, her tone sharp and matter-of-fact. "Of course I'm surprised. I woke up to a stranger's face."
