Annabelle Linton watched Landon Sheffield with a cool gaze, her tone persuasive. "President Sheffield, think twice. You're just returning a hot potato in exchange for the peace you once had. We can go our separate ways, and this is a deal with no downsides for you. Are you sure you won't take it?"
Landon Sheffield instantly weighed the pros and cons, his business acumen showing. "Your objective is the two billion?"
"I have no interest in other people's family affairs."
Landon Sheffield nodded. "Fine. I'll wire the two billion to your account at nine tonight. But can you guarantee that we'll be even after this?"
