After her rebirth, the female lead stays away from him, and the male lead is completely tormented. In the later parts of the story, the male lead will have all the reactions you'd expect to see, such as suicide attempts... But the ending is a happy one.
This book isn't exactly a doting romance or a gratifying romp, but it's certainly not a tragic tearjerker. Just as the call was about to end, Annabelle Linton pressed her lips together and, unwilling to let it go, called out softly.
