Staring at the sealed gate, Leon Grant barked, "Blow it open!"
"Yes, sir!"
The demolitions expert immediately stepped forward.
Inside the factory, a subordinate reported, "Miss Sheffield, Young Master Grant is here to save her! He has too many men. We don't stand a chance!"
A vicious glint flashed in Faye Sheffield's eyes. She snatched the gun beside her and shot the reporting subordinate dead, then braced her hands on the table.
Charles King looked at Faye Sheffield and demanded, "How could Leon Grant be here? You said he wouldn't come!"
She stared out at the factory grounds, her eyes dark, and sneered. "You kidnapped his woman. Did you really think he would just let us go? Things have gone this far—is there any turning back now?"
Her gaze shifted to another subordinate. "Go. Give the order to fight to the death. Double their pay. Tell them they'll get the money even if I'm dead!"
"Yes, ma'am!"
Faye Sheffield looked down at the scene unfolding below and burst into laughter.
