By the time they were done playing, another half hour had passed.
It was getting late. Time to head back.
After the children left, Annabelle Linton looked around for Leona Grant, but she couldn't see him anywhere.
Her gaze fell, her spirits low.
For some reason, she felt that Leona Grant wasn't very happy today.
'Is it because of Aaron Wyatt?'
Annabelle Linton stood where she was, lost in thought.
The director walked up to her and patted her on the shoulder. "Annabelle, what are you up to?"
Annabelle Linton snapped out of it and smiled at the director. "Oh, nothing. Just standing here.
The director watched her for a moment before smiling and asking, "You love him very much, don't you?"
Annabelle Linton looked at the director, confused, unsure of what she was trying to say.
