Yuri Sinclair set down the thick book in his hands and went to take the soup from Chloe, but she stopped him with a smile. "It's hot, Your Highness. How about I hold on to it?"
Yuri Sinclair reached out to touch it, and indeed, it was scalding.
"It's fine. Go get a trivet and we'll set the soup aside for now." Yuri Sinclair didn't even glance at Chloe.
Ashley Bowen still remembered all too clearly what Chloe had said that morning at Bathsia Villa.
She was the type to hold a grudge, so she pouted.
Chloe, focused on speaking with Yuri Sinclair, didn't even spare a glance for Ashley Bowen, who was lying in bed. "Alright, Your Highness. Please wait, I'll go get it right now."
As she spoke, Chloe puffed out her chest.
However, Yuri Sinclair didn't even look at her. He turned away, picked up a soup spoon, ladled out a spoonful, blew on it, and took a sip.
It was delicious, though still a little too hot.
