Seeing his silence, Miles Xavier grew certain of his assumptions. He placed his hand on Howard's shoulder again and chuckled. "Don't worry about it. What man doesn't fool around with other women? One-night stands are a dime a dozen."
"Speak for yourself! Don't you dare judge others by your own filthy standards!" Howard snarled, his eyes bloodshot as he whirled around and slapped the hand off his shoulder.
Miles Xavier's smile didn't waver. He didn't mind the harsh words from his younger brother, so long as he could be persuaded to change his mind.
"Let's talk inside. It's getting chilly out here," Miles Xavier said calmly.
Howard frowned. To keep this whole thing under wraps, he had no choice but to yield to his brother for now.
