Mary Preston agreed and hurried to catch up with Ashley Bowen.
Just as the three of them were about to disappear down the corridor, Sean caught up to them.
"Imperial Concubine, His Majesty has given you everything. Are you truly not going to forgive him?"
Holding Gordon, Ashley Bowen froze. She glanced over, her eyes landing on Sean's face.
But she didn't say a word and strode away.
Inside the revolving sky restaurant, the entire floor had been booked out.
Ashley Bowen, along with her mother and son, chose a table by the window.
Gordon was small but bold, insisting on grabbing the seat by the window.
He seemed thrilled, one moment kneeling on the sofa, the next pressing his face against the glass to look down at the world from two hundred meters up.
Mary Preston, however, was frowning with worry. There were several things she wanted to ask, but she didn't know how to begin.
