"You should verify this before you open fire."
The two soldiers looked at each other, and after a moment of deliberation, one said, "You wait here!"
A few minutes later, the soldier returned with Sean.
Sean was a little surprised to see Anna Thorne. Ordinarily, the Prime Minister wouldn't be so careless as to let his daughter tag along on an outing. Or perhaps he had brought her with him intentionally?
Regardless, Sean offered a polite greeting. "Miss Thorne, what are you doing here?"
"My father is in there. Why can't I be here?"
"My apologies, but His Majesty and the Prime Minister are discussing important matters. It would be inappropriate for you to go in. If you're hungry, I can arrange for the entire floor above or below to be cleared for you."
Sean's words were impeccable, leaving no room for argument.
Anna naturally had no way to retort, so she just smiled. "Alright then. I'll take the entire floor above."
"Of course. I'll have it ready for you in ten minutes."
