Finn Norris drove Joan Shaw to the villa's entrance.
"Want to come up?" Joan Shaw asked as she pushed open the car door.
The man in the car hesitated for a moment. 'Miles Xavier would probably get angry if he found out.' "I probably shouldn't go in, right? There are so many maids watching."
"Alright then. Wait for me, I'll be right down." She shut the door and walked quickly toward the villa.
Inside, she packed a few changes of clothes and came downstairs. A maid was helping her carry her things, but as they neared the car, she took the bag. "You don't have to walk me any further. I can take it from here."
"Alright." The two maids nodded. One of them, overcome with curiosity, craned her neck to see who was in the driver's seat.
This wasn't one of the Xavier family's cars, so she was very curious who had brought Mrs. Xavier home. Was it a man or a woman?
Joan Shaw opened the back door, placed the bag on the seat, then closed it and got into the front passenger seat.
