"Just got here." Howard didn't even glance at Nate, striding right past her to stop in front of Ashley Bowen.
He leaned over to look at her painting.
A brown windowsill, and outside, a green lawn and a field of purple lavender.
The painting was a little abstract, but it was really good.
If this painting bore Ashley Bowen's name, it would be worth a fortune. It could sell for an incredible price.
"You could make this green a bit deeper. The purple palette here is decent, but you could try blending it a little more over here."
Howard said, pointing at the painting.
Ashley Bowen looked up at him and nodded. "I'll do just that."
Watching the two of them get along so harmoniously, Nate Jennings was suddenly at a loss for words. She felt like a complete outsider, unable to get a word in. It was as if she and Howard were on two parallel lines that would never intersect.
She was an agent, usually only interested in the entertainment industry, gossip, and the like.
