After studying recipes for half the morning, Nate Jennings finally decided to make a simple, home-style steak dinner because it seemed like the easiest option.
Lunch was officially served at twelve o'clock: six steaks, plus a serving of congee with a side dish she had prepared specially for Juno Sinclair.
Although Juno was still on milk, he had also started to enjoy eating congee.
She had made a separate portion just for the baby.
"Time to eat! Time to eat!" After setting the steaks on the dining table, she placed her phone down and played a recording.
It was a recording she had just made. To summon everyone to taste her cooking as quickly as possible, she had turned her phone's volume all the way up, making it almost as loud as a street vendor's megaphone.
Her shrill voice could be heard in every corner of the villa.
The family came downstairs one after another, looking a bit surprised to see Nate Jennings standing by the dining table.
