The sacred lodge was a private space reserved for claiming rituals and sacred ceremonies.
It was simple but beautiful...a large room with a stone floor and a bed covered in white furs in the center. Candles lined every surface, their light creating a warm, sacred atmosphere.
The moment the door closed behind them, the public ritual was over.
Now came the private claiming.
Kai's hands found the zipper of her white dress, and he pulled it down slowly.
"You were so beautiful out there," he said softly. "So strong. So certain. It made me want you immediately."
The dress fell away, and Maya stood before him completely naked.
Kai removed his clothes with deliberate slowness, his eyes never leaving hers.
When he was completely naked, he took her hand and led her to the bed of white furs.
"Lie back," he commanded softly.
Maya obeyed, positioning herself on the furs.
Kai settled between her legs, and instead of entering her immediately, he just looked at her.
