The warm sunlight from the sun reflected on the window and lightly shun on Riven, he opened his eyes looking around the room remembering that he wasn't hallucinating after all, he got down from his bed and had his bath, he looked around the bathroom noticing something a bit off. As he came out of the bathroom soaking wet, he opened his eyes after cleaning his face. Then he looked at the floor in the room, then he saw his shadow was slowly disappearing as well as moving at another direction.
'AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!'
Riven screamed as he saw a black smoky beast like figure growling at him, it walked silently towards Riven, he threw multiple things at it while screaming like a helpless little girl. Then he turned and saw Reji standing behind him, he looked scary and emotionless as yesterday, but Riven was too freaked out by the figure to be scared of him all that much.
"Good Morning."
Reji said calmly and deeply, he sounded totally relaxed as he greeted Riven.
"REJI! THERE'S A...A MONSTER IN THIS ROOM!"
Riven shouted while pointing at the being with one hand and holding Reji's clothe tightly.
Reji showed no fear when he saw it or when Riven told him, he stepped forward and pulled up one of his fingers, pointed at the being, then he said,
'SHADOW DEFORMATION'
And he directed the being towards Riven, slowly turning back into a shadow again. Reji cleaned his hands and saw Riven gasp in amazement, he thanked him for getting rid of it. But Reji still didn't show any emotions towards him only replying to his appreciation. Reji picked up his school bag and walked to the door, then he said to Riven,
"Thank you for allowing me to use you as a test subject."
Then he left, then Riven gotta angry 💢 when he heard what he said.
"So you knew, and it was you who did that to me!. Reji!"
Riven soliquized.
He came out of the door shouting his name while raising his fist in a funny way, but then he remembered that he was still wearing his towel, so he quickly rushed back inside the room.
Riven came out wearing his uniform, then he reaches his classroom, as he entered, he saw nobody there, then he looked through the classes, looking for someone but didn't see any students. Then he sees Miss Lee's shop open, he enters inside and greets her, she greets him too. Riven asked Miss Lee where everyone was, and she told him that they're at the hall, she directed him by pointing, he thanked her and left.
Riven approached the hall and saw all the students there, he didn't know what was happening until he heard foot steps approaching the room, it was two finely dressed men, the whole hall was silent, the students attention were on the sparkily men. Then one cleared his throat and spoke.
"Good Morning students, how was your night, I hope you enjoyed it?"
He asked with a nice voice.
Then the other continued,
"We gathered you here because we're re-seperating you because of some circumstances. It's not by your warrior powers anymore... But by your mission set along with your teacher. So approach the boxes infront of you with your former class number on it and you'll get a new number."
The students did as the man ordered and picked up the paper with a number on it, but Riven went to any box and picked up a paper with the number 10 on it.
" Hm, kind of a down grade."
Riven thought.
The two caught the attention of the students by blasting fire with their hands.
"Now, go to the section labelled with your number on it."
One of them said
As Riven approached the number section labelled 10, he saw Reji standing there. Reji looked shocked when he saw Riven approaching his class.
"REJI! Hey REJI!"
Riven shouted as he waved.
"Must you shout?!"
A female asked
Riven looked and saw Kelly right beside him.
"Kelly, you're in the same class with me and Reji?"
Riven asked nicely
" No! Of course not, I'm in class 10"
Kelly said confidently and with assurance as she walked.
Then Riven stopped walking and gave her a sarcastic look, then said,
"But we're in class 10...."
He started
"...And that's where you and I are going to."
He ended.
The two men called out the sensei's of each class, as they called the sensei of class 10, a young guy with white bright hair, wearing shades approached them.
"Class 10: Reito Aozaki"
The men said.
They also mentioned about battles to face against other schools. They called on each class to make sure they were complete. But as they reached my class, they looked and noticed someone was missing.
" You're only three, it's not supposed to be , you're actually the smallest group amongst all."
One of the men said to us.
Then the other saw Aozaki and whispered to the other
"... And maybe the weakest."
The men snickered and chuckled a bit before they continued,
" We will make sure your class is completed, but as for now, you do well now."
One said.
The men waved and left us.
As we entered into our classroom, we sat down and the teacher closed the door and said,
"Good day kids, I'm Reito Aozaki and I am your sensei. Can you all introduce yourselves and your warrior powers."
Aozaki asked with a smile 😁
Reji stood up silently, he blew his hair a bit which usually covers his eyes and said,
"I'm Reji Kurogaki and my power is Shadow/dark powers and emotional manipulation."
Nobody actually looked shocked when he said his warrior power.
"I'm Kelly Kurogane and my power is teleportation and anchor attack ."
She said with confidence.
But then Riven looked and saw that Reji and Kelly were looking at him waiting for him to introduce himself. Sensei Aozaki glared at him for a while as he stood up in confusion and embarrassment.
"My.. m..My name is...."
Before Riven could continue introducing himself, the sensei answered it for him
"You're Riven Kaelit, the new student right?"
"Ho.. How do you know my name?"
He asked
But sensei Aozaki said he's heard of him.
Then he brought him to the warrior student test room, to see the powers Riven would have.
"So what does it do?"
Riven asked
"It'll identify if you're a warrior and what resonance (power)you'll possess... Or if you survive."
He said calmly
"What did you say?"
He asked with a scared face.
Reito Aozaki told him that'll be fine. Riven stepped on top of the platform and stood there. The rest of them looked at the screen to see if he was qualified to be a warrior, but as they looked at it, nothing appeared.
"I don't think he's a warrior sensei."
Reji said calmly.
Kelly didn't understand why nothing showed on the when she clearly experienced what happened that night. She still remembers how she was choking like if the air was toxic and how the old sensei almost died, she felt uncomfortable as she remembered it.
Reito also felt some kind of power coming from within, he just didn't understand why nothing appeared.
"Even if he's not a warrior, at least something should appear."

"Hey! Are you through?!"
Riven yelled from inside.
Reito told him to remain in the room, then he pressed a button and the test room became hot 🔥
"Won't he sweat?"
Kelly asked Reito.
But he said this was training warrior students usually undergo. They all looked at Riven, but he seemed perfectly fine and he didn't react much to the heat. Reito turned the force of the room on, making his body and everything else heavier, he felt quickly and tried holding himself, but the force and the heat was too much, Riven forcefully knelt down and placed his hands tightly on the uplifted plat form. It was like if he was pushed by a very strong wind slowly, forcefully and painfully.
"Sensei, please stop!"
Riven shouted to the clear hearing of the three. Soon the heat stopped and the room was normal again. Riven came out of the room looking weak and hurt.
"CONGRATULATIONS!! 🎉 YOU PASSED THE TEST BUDDY!"
Reito yelled happily while he punched his shoulder.
Riven smiled a bit looking at all of them and said,
"What a crappy test!"
Then he groaned a bit from the pain.
Then Reji and Kelly held his arms and took him out of the room. Reito turned the system off and disabled the cables, but before he could switch the light off and leave, he smelt something burnt, like electricity.
CRACK!
He saw the screen was cracked with deep holes punctured on it, he came closer and looked at the screen, then he looked around but saw no one, he looked at screen again, but this time sensed great energy, but he couldn't feel it here, like if the person had zoomed off quickly. It wasn't something he sensed before.
They returned their classroom, and set Riven on the table.
"I'll go and get an ice pack, you put the bandage."
Reji said and quickly left.
Kelly went to the first aid box and grabbed the bandage. Then she saw Riven staring at her like if he was admiring her, she quickly turned away and pretended she didn't see him.
"Why is he staring at me like that?"
Kelly thought
"Alright bring out your arms."
She said as she approached him.
"I'll do it myself, they're in so many places "
Riven said calmly
"Oh, so you don't like how I'm treating you, or you just want Reji to do it."
Kelly said angrily.
He explained that there were places he could put them, that he doesn't think she might get it.
" I'll paste it very well I'll do it right."
She said as she grabbed his arm.
She started wrapping it around his arm neatly, she was focused on it , but when she reached to grab another, she looked at him, he was bending down while he stared at her, she couldn't stop looking at his eyes, his eyes shimmered beautifully and his glared was warm but cold at the same time.
"Is there something on my forehead?"
Riven broke the silence by asking that question.
Kelly coughed for a bit and told him that there was another on his forehead. As she pulled out the bandage to paste it it on his forehead, she met his gaze, his confused but serious looking, kelly was so lost that she didn't remember she was putting the bandage. Riven moved closer to her, he grabbed her hand gently and raised it, he came even closer to her, Kelly couldn't move but only stare and then,
'BLAM!'
He pasted the bandage on his forehead.
"Thanks."
Riven said calmly and moved away.
Kelly still stood there be lost by what he did just now. Reito came inside along with Reji, Reito sits down on his seat and places his head on the desk and starts snoring.
" Hey! Aren't you going to teach us anything, sensei?"
Kelly asks while pointing her finger right up.
Reito ignores her and continues to snore, Reji approached him and asks if he could teach them. But he said it was the first day and that means it's a free day.
" So you're saying that we should skip school while others learn and train?"
Riven asked Reito to be sure.
" Huh? Any way you see it."
He said
Then Riven yelled,
"YAY NO SCHOOL TODAY!!"
Then he stood and started walking out of the room happily, immediately Reji grabbed his collar and dragged him back.
" Yeah, this isn't going to work Sensei , we need to train. Or else we won't be great warriors ."
He said as he held Riven.
"I.. I can't."
Reito said calmly and then he continued.
" I can't teach an injured child while he feels less useful especially since he's new."
Riven looked at himself and noticed the injuries were healed.
"Don't worry sensei, I'm totally fine now we can train, and even if I get injured I'll keep trying."
Riven said with positive energy and put on a wide and motivated smile.
Sensei Reito stood up from his chair, then looked at him for a while and hit his back.
"Well then let's get started, we have a long day to cover kids."
He said
Then they left the room to go out and train, then Reji walked beside the sensei and asked with his cold and emotionless voice,
" You just used Riven's injury as a reason not to teach, but you were actually tired and felt lazy, isn't that right Sensei?"
Sensei Reito gave a mild but irritated and funny shocked face to him and asked,
"How'd you know?"
"I could feel it through your emotions."
He answered and walked past him.
"Ugh! What have I gotten myself into now."
Reito soliquized as he walked along .
In a dark room, the cloaked men sat on their seats in a classy manner. Then two other cloaked men approached them. They knelt down with one knee and placed their hands on their chest
" Have you found the containment for it?"
The cloaked man at the middle asked.
The two looked at each other and slightly nodded, then one answered,
" No we have not, but we have sent our men, and they said that they've found something, so they'll report back to us."
All the sitted cloaked men laughed and then the one at the middle said,
"Get it right away...."
But as they were about to leave, he cleared his throat and said,
"...If it so happens that, I get to find out something is wrong or there's a mistake... I'll make sure you will be a mistake."
The two left the room and ran out of there.
"What if they find out? They're gonna tell him "
One said to the other with caution.
"Don't worry, they won't find out... But we've got to find that boy. All we know is the warriors are protecting him. All we need is the body. Even if we have to break a lot of bones."
The other said with fear and bit of anger as he clenched his fist ✊
