The Infinite Void:
While the world above was screaming, Alex and Allen were lounging in a dimension of pure nothingness. Alex was casually spinning a finger, and a small circular portal—the size of a tablet—floated in front of them, showing the chaos at the Academy.
Allen: (Wiping his hands on his pants) "I could have opened the way back three minutes ago, Alex. Why are we still sitting on this rock? The air here tastes like static."
Alex: "Patience, Allen. Look at Evelyn. She's finally using 'Photon Compression' instead of just throwing light around like a flashlight. And Serina's shadow-binding? It's getting sharper. If we go back now, they'll never reach the next level."
Allen: "You just don't want to help with the cleanup."
Alex: (Grinning) "That's a very large part of it, yes. But look—the demon is getting desperate. He's about to use a Soul-Eater blast. That's our cue."
Back in the Ballroom:
The situation was turning dire. The Obsidian Demon, Zorgon, was growing larger, his body absorbing the very shadows Serina was trying to control.
Zorgon: "ENOUGH! I am a Universal Devourer! You children play with the sparks of Gods, but you have no fire!"
He gathered a ball of pure, decaying black energy between his horns. The pressure was so intense that the floor tiles were turning to dust. Serina's Shadow Helmet was flickering, and Evelyn's Light wings were cracked.
Lucian: (Gasping for air, his mask torn) "I... I can't hold his legs anymore! He's too heavy!"
Evelyn: (Her voice trembling inside the Light Helmet) "Don't give up! If we fall... the whole school is gone! Alex... Allen... where are you?!"
She threw her last bit of mana into a shield, closing her eyes as Zorgon unleashed the blast. "ALEX!"
The Grand Entrance:
The "Soul-Eater" beam never hit.
Suddenly, the space directly above the demon didn't just open—it shattered like a glass window hit by a sledgehammer. There was no magic circle, no chanting. Just the raw sound of reality breaking.
CRACK-BOOM!
Two figures dropped out of the sky with the weight of falling stars.
Alex: (Landing right on top of the demon's head, hands in his pockets) "Honey, I'm home. Did you miss us?"
Allen: (Landing on the demon's shoulder, still holding an empty soda cup) "You guys really let the place get messy in ten minutes."
The sheer force of their landing sent a shockwave through the room that instantly snuffed out the demon's dark blast. Zorgon's knees shattered instantly under the "passive" weight of the two Gods. He was pinned to the floor, his face smashed into the marble.
Zorgon: (Muffled screaming) "HOW?! I TRAPPED YOU IN THE ENDLESS VOID! NO ONE LEAVES WITHOUT A SOUL-KEY!"
Alex: (Looking down at the demon beneath his feet) "Soul-key? Oh, you mean that locked door? I didn't see a key, so I just kicked the wall down. It was a bit flimsy, to be honest."
The Reaction:
Evelyn fell to her knees, her Light Helmet dissolving as she stared at Alex. Her heart was hammering—half from relief, half from the sheer awe of seeing him casually stand on a Universal Threat like it was a footstool.
Serina: (Panting, her Shadow Helmet vanishing) "You... you idiots! You were watching the whole time, weren't you?!"
Alex: (Winking at her) "You did great, Sis. Your form was a solid 8/10. Evelyn, the helmet looked better on you than it does on me. Very stylish."
Evelyn: (Blushing furiosly through her exhaustion) "You... you saw that?! You saw me wearing... that?!"
Alex: "Hard to miss. You were glowing like a second sun."
Allen: (Tapping the demon's horn with his foot) "Anyway, this guy is annoying. Can we wrap this up? I saw a taco truck outside that survived the portal blast, and I'm starving."
Alex: "Agreed. Goodbye, Zorgon. Tell the Void I said 'Hi'."
Alex didn't even use a move. He just increased the gravity around his left foot by 1%. The demon didn't just die—it was compressed into a tiny black marble, which Alex casually flicked into a nearby trash can.
