Obviously I had to call our mother and tell her that Hui Zhen was actually working here in the end.
There was no way I was going to put myself in the line of fire of our mother's ire for her.
Needless to say, she wasn't exactly happy to hear that my sister basically tricked her into thinking that this was just a normal part time job at some normal company.
Still… She relented and decided it was better for her to be here than somewhere else and just told me to look out for her and keep her out of trouble.
I guess the fact that it's still technically a desk job was what convinced her to let it go instead of chewing my sister out.
I agreed with her on the fact that it was better for her to be here at least so I decided I wouldn't give her too hard of a time and just accepted this as the new reality.
Although she did say that she wanted to have a talk with her at home after this.
