I took my little sister to visit the penthouse on the top floor and her reaction was as I expected.
"Waahhhh!!! Gor Gor!! You live here now? So big sia!! Even bigger than our house leh!!"
I stepped inside after her, "Yeah… I didn't think they would make it this big for me to be honest…"
"Wahhh!! You can see the city from here!!" She squealed, pressing her face up against the window in the living room.
I stood beside her, looking out the window as well and staring at the mainland that was just across the stretch of sea in between us.
"It's beautiful…" My sister whispered, pressing her hand against the glass.
"What? Our city?"
"Ya lor… I never see our city from this angle before."
"That's because there has never been a tower built here. Duh."
She turned to roll her eyes at me, "That wasn't what I was talking about lah…"
