The night had passed and dawn had arrived. Raye and the party had left Glauos City and is now heading for the Kingdom of Sahhara. They bid adieu with Purrine as she was sent off to her hometown in a carriage. Aether Lupen, The Perfect Mage, left Glauos City earlier than the party an hour earlier to avoid being late.
It would take a day time to reach to the Kingdom of Sahhara from Glauos City by foot so the party set off around 6 in the morning. Before they left, they visited the butcher shop to claim their chopped behemoth meat.
"I had spent a whole night butchering this behemoth, I'm sorry I only managed to butchered half of the behemoth,"
"No it's fine, butchering half is already surprising enough for me,"
Raye pulled out a sack with 5 gold coins and handed it over to the butcher.
"No no, I can't accept this, I told you that I'm willing to do this for free, butchering the behemoth is already an honor,"
"Well, I can't accept deeds that people spent their whole night on for free,"
"W-well then, I will gladly accept this gold coins,"
"Thank you, take care,"
Raye said goodbye to the butcher as the party left the butcher shop. Will stored the butchered behemoth inside his shadow. They went to a coffee shop to have breakfast to avoid being hungry for the journey. They ordered pita bread and coffee while Loki eat the raw hyena's meat.

"Alright gang, we are finally going to reach to the Kingdom of Sahhara,"
They had been walking for a while now. Killing beasts in their way and dodging quicksands, Al caught himself in one too. Raye took some time to pull Al out.
Loki have not talk yet during their journey. It seems that he still insecure with the party.
"You still don't trust us, do you, Loki?"
"Shut up!"
"What a rude way to speak to your master,"
"..., why..."
"Pardon?"
"Why....do you...resemble him..."
"Him... as in the legendary hero? Well I'm honored to be praised like that!"

Long ago, when Loki was terrorizing near the Kingdom of Sahhara like he always does, the legendary hero party was traveling there that time.
"Leave us human alone dragon!"
"As if I listen to a human, human are just mere toy to me, entertain me is your duty,"
"Let's make a deal, if I managed to deal a damage to you, you will leave humanity alone,"
"I like to see you try,"
.....
The Pale Jade Dragon, fallen onto the ground, with his right horn being sliced of him.
"I won, you will now leave humanity alone,"
"T-that doesn't count! I'm not even hurt! I can't lose to a human,"
"Your horn is considered part of you, a deal is a deal, leave now!"
The legendary hero breath heavily, sweat rolls down all of his body. Their battle has been real rough.

"I heard that the Pale Jade Dragon was so scared he hid away from humanity until the legendary hero is dead then he resume terrorizing nearby the Kingdom of Sahhara," Al said.
"Shut up!"
"Hiding away from the one you once terrorize till the person you hate is dead..." Will added on.
"It's...."
Raye chuckled at the situation which enraged Loki even more.
As they were walking to the borderline between the dune and the Kingdom of Sahhara, all of the sudden, the sky turned dark as if it were night.
"That's weird, it's still pretty early for the sun to set," Raye noticed and looked around.
Everyone that was also traveling to the Kingdom of Sahhara were puzzled by the current situation. Fog started thickening in the air. Al stepped backward in fear.
"What's wrong Al?" Raye looked at Al's fearful sight of the situation that they are in.
"It can't be, no... Cover your eyes, quickly, before it comes!"
"What are you talking about-" Loki was quickly interrupted by Will before he could finish his sentence.
Raye was hesitant at first but did as Al said. Will covered his eyes and uses his shadowy tendrils casted behind the back of Loki and covered Loki's eyes.
"Hey let go of-"
The fog is now fully thicken. Everyone that was in the situation heeded Al's words and did so. Few that were being arrogant, thinking it was a joke brushes it off and continued walking. Suddenly, screaming sounded in the air. Few small explosions burst out. No one could see anything, or even dared to opened their eyes. Fear lingers in everyone except Will and Loki.
The sound stopped for a while. The fog presence slowly diminish, giving people in the situation a false hope.
"Is it over...?"
A man dressed as a hero then opened his eyes and saw the dark fog. He looked left and right and saw nothing. He then moved his body backwards and yelled at everyone.
"Guys, we are saved, we are-"
As he turned forward he saw a huge eye starring at him. The iris of the eye is grey and the pupil is pitch black as if staring into the dark abyss. Before he could react he exploded. Blood mist the air. A seemingly party member of that man standing near him was showered in his blood. She screamed loudly and slowly opened her eyes to see what was happening. There was no trace of the man's dead body. Just blood drops scattered all around her. She kept staring down onto the ground, scared to see what caused this. Before she could close her eyes, the eye appeared on the ground which shocked her. She tried to blocked it with her hands but the eyes suddenly appeared on them as if she was destined for death. The same fate of that man occurred to her. Before she could react, she exploded and her blood mist in the air.
No one dared to utter a sound now. They were scared that they were going to be next. Will tried to detect the entity through mana but failed to do so. After a long time, the fog truly diminished and vanished. The thicken fog slowly went away and the sun shined onto them again.
"Is it over?"
Raye slowly opened his eyes, he took a small glimpse before his eyelid and saw the sun shined radiantly onto his face.
"Guys, we are fine now, that....thing...is gone,"
Everyone being hesitant slowly opened their eyes and saw the sun too. A girl kneeling onto the sand where the blood mist splattered onto. She was crying as another guy trying to comfort her.
"Let's go,"
Raye suggested to the party and they listened to him.
