Chapter 49 - Samahara Bhairava – The Hammer of Retribution

Exhausted after the Kashi Tournament, Rudra returned to his office, seeking a moment of peace. However, before he could rest, an old Swamiji (monk) appeared at his door. The monk's eyes were wide with terror as he looked at Rudra's palm.

"Rudra, the stars have aligned in the house of Yama," the Swamiji warned. "I see your death scene written in the void. For the next 48 hours, do not step outside. If you leave this sanctuary, you will not return alive."

Isha, Keerthi, and Shanthi clutched Rudra's arms, begging him to listen. Rudra went to his room to sleep, but at midnight, the room began to glow with an emerald light. Hundreds of Naganis (serpent-women) materialized from the shadows, weeping.

"Lord Rudra, save us!" they cried. "The demons have kidnapped our Queen. They are preparing to feast upon her divine flesh. If you do not come, the Nagas will be extinct by dawn."

As Rudra grabbed his cloak, his wives blocked the door. "The Swamiji said you would die!" Isha screamed.

Rudra looked at them with eyes that had seen a thousand lifetimes. "I have seen death, and I have died many times before," he said coldly. "If I do not return, do not marry anyone else. Live only with my memories." With a gust of wind, he vanished.

The Trigger: Memories of the Bloodbath

Rudra arrived at a desolate clearing where two massive demons held the Nagai Queen in chains. As Rudra drew his Bama Kali sword, the demons laughed. They activated a Gravity Field, pinning Rudra to the earth with the weight of a mountain.

"Do you recognize us, Rudra?" one demon hissed, leaning close to his ear. "We were there... in your village. We turned your home into a pool of blood. We were the ones who laughed while your people begged for mercy under Hidimba's orders. We made your village a graveyard."

At those words, Rudra's mind snapped. The suppressed trauma of his past exploded. He didn't care about the prophecy or his own life anymore.

Descent of the Samahara Bhairava

"I will kill you both so thoroughly," Rudra growled, his voice sounding like grinding tectonic plates, "that you will never wish to be reborn in this universe."

He unleashed his most terrifying form: Samahara Bhairava. His body was wreathed in black, vengeful spirits. Even the Naganis recoiled in horror. He wasn't a warrior anymore; he was a predator.

He activated his Domain of Darkness. Within the pitch-black void, Rudra manifested a Nail and a Heavy Hammer. He showed no mercy, no emotion—he was a "feeling-less being."

He pinned the first demon down and placed a long, rusted nail over its eye. CRACK! He smashed the hammer down, driving the nail through the eye and into the skull. As the demon shrieked in agony, Rudra did the same to the second demon's head, pinning them to the very fabric of his domain. He began to dismantle them piece by piece, bone by bone, mirroring the pain his villagers felt years ago.

The Savior's Burden

When the darkness lifted, only piles of unrecognizable meat remained. Rudra stood in the center of the carnage, drenched in black ichor. He broke the Nagai Queen's chains.

The Queen, trembling with both fear and intense admiration, looked at the monster who had saved her. In that moment of bloody salvation, she fell deeply in love with him. She bowed her head, vowing that she would marry no one but the man who had become a demon to save her.

Rudra returned to his body in Kashi, his soul cold and silent. He had saved the Nagai, but he had lost a piece of his humani

ty in that forest.Rudra returned to the Kashi headquarters, but he did not return alone. Standing beside him was a woman of ethereal beauty—Sara, the Nagai Queen. Her eyes held the depth of the emerald sea, and her presence was both royal and dangerous.

Isha, Keerthi, and Shanthi met them at the entrance, their eyes wide with confusion. Sara stepped forward and bowed with grace.

"My name is Sara," she spoke, her voice like silk. "Your husband walked into the jaws of death to save my people. By the laws of the Naga, my life and my soul now belong to him. I wish to marry him and serve this household."

The three wives looked at Rudra. They saw the weariness in his eyes and the blood on his cloak. Understanding the bond formed in battle, they opened their hearts. With their blessing, a private ceremony was held that night under the moonlit sky of Kashi. Rudra married Sara, uniting the strength of the Dark Sovereign with the ancient mysticism of the Nagas.

The Elixir of Life

Following the wedding, the Naga elders presented Rudra with a glowing green phial. "This is the Sanjeevani Ras," the elder explained. "It is the pinnacle of our medical alchemy. It can regenerate any lost limb, mend any broken bone, and recreate any organ that has been destroyed."

Rudra's heart hammered against his ribs. He looked at the elder with desperate hope. "Even a womb?" he asked, his voice trembling. "If a woman was born without one, or if it was taken by tragedy... can this create life where there was none?"

"Yes, Rudra," the elder replied. "It rewrites the very blueprint of the body."

Keerthi's Rebirth

Rudra immediately went to Keerthi's chambers. He found her sitting by the window, looking out at the Ganges with a trace of sadness—the silent pain of a woman who thought she could never carry a child.

"Keerthi, drink this," Rudra said, handing her the phial.

She looked at him curiously but trusted him implicitly. As the liquid flowed down her throat, a brilliant, warm light enveloped her midsection. She gasped, clutching her stomach. Within her body, cells began to weave together, guided by the Naga magic. A new, healthy womb was formed where there had been only emptiness.

Keerthi fell to her knees, tears of pure joy streaming down her face. She looked up at Rudra, her hands trembling over her stomach. "Rudra... I can feel it. The void is gone. Does this mean... I can finally have children? I can be a mother?"

"Yes, Keerthi," Rudra whispered, pulling her into a hug. "It is true. You are whole."

Isha, Shanthi, and Sara rushed in, weeping and embracing Keerthi. The house, which had been a fortress of war, was now a sanctuary of hope.

The Shadows Return

The celebration was short-lived. A sudden, piercing alarm echoed from the Kashi command center. A frantic officer burst in. "Lord Rudra! A massive demonic signature has been detected in the heart of the city. It's not just one demon—the very shadows of the streets are turning into monsters!"

Rudra's expression shifted instantly. The husband and healer vanished, replaced by the Dark Sovereign. He grabbed the Bama Kali sword, its blade humming with anticipation.

"Our mission in Kashi is far from over," Rudra declared, looking at his four wives. "Isha, Keerthi, Shanthi, Sara—prepare yourselves.

We hunt tonight."The air in Kashi turned thick with the smell of sulfur as the earth split open. From the depths of the shadows, Hidimba emerged, his body reconstructed and more grotesque than before. He held a massive, jagged blade forged from the bones of fallen warriors, glowing with a sickly purple aura.

"Rudra!" Hidimba roared, his voice cracking the nearby windows. "Your little tournament is over. Kashi will be your grave!"

The Finger of God

Hidimba lunged, swinging his massive sword with enough force to level a mountain. The shockwave alone sent cars flying like toys. Rudra didn't move. He didn't draw his blade. As the giant sword descended upon his head, Rudra simply raised his right hand and extended one finger.

CLANG!

The sound of metal shattering echoed through the city. To Hidimba's horror, his legendary bone-sword snapped into a thousand pieces upon impact with Rudra's fingertip.

"Is this the best the Underworld has to offer?" Rudra asked, his voice dripping with boredom.

The Hanuman Form: Divine Primates

Rudra's aura shifted from the dark, cold energy of Bhairava to a burning, golden-orange heat. "You have forgotten the roots of this land, Hidimba. You are in the city of Shiva, protected by the breath of Vayu."

Rudra roared, and his body began to transform. His muscles expanded, covered in a fine golden fur, and a divine tail erupted from his spine. His face shifted into the fierce, noble visage of the Hanuman Form. This wasn't just strength; it was the embodiment of Prana (Life Force).

Rudra vanished.

He didn't move; he simply ceased to be in one spot and appeared in another. Hidimba, desperate, tapped into his own dark speed, turning into a streak of purple lightning. The two clashed across the Kashi skyline, moving so fast that they appeared as golden and purple beams of light reflecting off the clouds.

Pure Domination

Despite Hidimba's power, the fight was a slaughter. Every time they clashed, Rudra's fists shattered Hidimba's armor. Rudra was dominating every second of the engagement. He caught Hidimba's throat mid-air and slammed him through three buildings before pinning him against the ancient stone walls of a temple.

Rudra leaned in, his golden eyes burning into Hidimba's soul. Hidimba was trembling.

"Do you hear that, Hidimba?" Rudra whispered.

"H-Hear what?" the demon stammered.

"The thumping. Your heart is beating so loud it's shaking your ribs. Do you know why? It is because of fear. You finally realize that you aren't the predator anymore. You are the prey."

In a panic, Hidimba unleashed a desperate Red Beam of concentrated demonic energy from his core. Rudra, still in his Hanuman form, didn't dodge. He grabbed the beam with his bare hands, compressed the energy into a small ball, and crushed it like a piece of paper.

The Arrival of the End

Rudra drew the Bama Kali sword to deliver the final blow. He swung the blade, cutting through Hidimba's chest. The demon screamed, blood spraying as he used a forbidden shadow-teleportation to retreat a few hundred meters, barely clinging to life.

Rudra began to shift back into his human form, his energy spent from the divine transformation. He walked toward the wounded Hidimba to finish the job.

Suddenly, the sky turned pitch black. The sun didn't just set; it was extinguished.

A pressure ten times heavier than the Gravity Field hit the entire city. People fell to their knees, vomiting blood from the sheer aura. A portal of crimson fire opened in the sky, and descending from it was a figure clad in obsidian armor—Demon God Vijay.

Rudra tried to raise his sword, but he was exhausted. Before he could react, Vijay moved with a speed that surpassed light.

BOOM!

Vijay delivered a devastating kick to Rudra's chest. The sound was like a bomb going off. Rudra was sent flying through the air, crashing through the Kashi command center, through the city walls, and deep into the forest, leaving a trail of destruction behind him.

Vijay stood where Rudra had been, his eyes glowing with a terrifying, calm malice. "The appetizer was interesting," Vijay said, looking at the cowering Hidimba. "But now, the King has arrived to claim his banquet."
