"Won't I get in the way?" Ayen instead of answering because it was already obvious.
Ayen wanted to come with them; the only thing holding him back was his combat power being absolute zero.
"Not at all," the two quickly dismissed Ayen's worries.
Devion assured Ayen. "We can protect you." It might be harder to fight, but they never refuse any challenge.
"We'll worry more if you're alone here," Khal added, and Devion nodded.
Being distracted was worse than looking out with another person in the middle of the fight.
Seeing them confident, Ayen could only agree. On a positive note, his presence would make it easier for the two to recover after small guiding sessions.
Thinking of this, the worries and apprehensions of being so weak did not bother him any longer.
Khal smiled and brushed Ayen's head. He turned to Devion, and the two nodded at each other.
