Chapter 659 - The Power of the Roar of Time

"Primal Dialga, use Roar of Time!"

Primal Dialga's Roar of Time could cause time to flow rapidly forward or forcefully wind it back. Facing the terrifying power of Complete Kyurem, Feng Che chose chronological reversal. He intended to rewind Complete Kyurem's time back to the moment before it ever fused.

Primal Dialga expelled a massive, distorted beam of pitch-black chronal light. Instantly, three brilliant shafts of white light erupted from Complete Kyurem's body as the fusion violently destabilized, fracturing back into the distinct entities of the Tao Trio.

Feng Che's sharp eyes immediately caught sight of the two sets of DNA Splicers hovering in midair. The relics linked directly with the frozen wings of Kyurem, crackling with heavy, blackish-blue electrical arcs.

The exact instant Kyurem attempted to utilize the DNA Splicers to forcefully refuse with Zekrom and Reshiram, Feng Che seized the window of opportunity.

"Mewtwo, use Ally Switch! Swap the position of that DNA Splicer into my hand!" Feng Che barked, catching the precise moment of the trio's de-fusion.

Blinding psychic energy exploded from Mewtwo's eyes, enveloping one of the levitating DNA Splicers. The crushing telekinetic force pulled violently against the artifact, causing the blackish-blue electrical static to release a sharp, piercing whine. Mewtwo exerted an immense amount of its mental parameters before finally dragging the resisting relic straight into its grasp.

"Excellent job, Mewtwo! Keep going!"

As long as they secured the remaining DNA Splicer, the dragons would be completely barred from synthesizing back into the apocalyptic Complete Kyurem. If this dragged out and the individual consciousnesses of the Tao Trio reached a unified consensus, not even Primal Dialga and Shadow Lugia combined would stand a chance against them.

"I can't, Feng Che! These DNA Splicers harbor an unbelievably massive reservoir of ancient energy," Mewtwo reported through gritted teeth, its brow furrowed in deep strain. "Executing that single Ally Switch has already severely drained a significant portion of my internal psychic reserves. If I attempt to telekinetically wrench the remaining one over right now, I will completely deplete my raw mental parameters."

"The moment that happens, the psychic barrier will instantly collapse, exposing our entire battlefield to every global reconnaissance faction."

"Mewtwo, is there any other way? What if I funnel every ounce of my personal psychic energy directly into you?" Feng Che suggested, knowing they had to seize the narrative momentum before Kyurem forcefully fused with either Zekrom or Reshiram.

"It's no use. Even if you transfer your full capacity into me, it would be a mere drop in the bucket," Mewtwo replied, shaking its head.

Even as they spoke, the remaining DNA Splicer on the field went completely feral. An irresistible spatial suction erupted from the relic, the blackish-blue lightning arcs whipping out to snare both Reshiram and Zekrom.

Reshiram unhinged its jaws, expelling a massive deluge of incandescent flames that successfully countered and repelled the gravitational pull. Unfortunately, the less fortunate Zekrom was caught cleanly by the tracking arcs, its massive form compressed into a sphere of pure energy and dragged directly into Kyurem's chassis.

While Complete Kyurem stood as a deity rivaling the Creator God, Black Kyurem remained an entity that completely transcended standard Legendary Pokémon parameters.

Upon absorbing Zekrom, Kyurem remolded into Black Kyurem, rearing its upper body to poise firmly on its slender hind legs. Its right ice horn was replaced by a jagged crest identical to Zekrom's, and its right forelimb manifested as Zekrom's heavily armored, clawed arm. Its left forelimb remained an asymmetrical shard of solid ice copying the right structure, while its original frozen wings retracted into its shoulders to make way for a black wing-blade mirroring Zekrom's wings and a secondary ice wing copying the right wing's layout.

Its neck, back, and face shifted to a pitch-black hide, integrated with a massive, dark generator engine identical to Zekrom's tail turbine to facilitate high-voltage power generation.

The precise instant Black Kyurem descended upon the world, a colossal bolt of black lightning tore from the heavens. Within heartbeats, the single lightning strike multiplied exponentially, transforming the sky into a vast, churning ocean of electrical currents. As the infinite dark voltage hammered violently against the earth, massive spires of pitch-black permafrost violently erupted from the bedrock. The jagged ice formations expanded outward like a surging glacier, consuming the terrain in every direction.

Up in the air, Reshiram executed Recover, absorbing thousands of shimmering golden particles into its form to seamlessly mend its structural strain. Once its health parameters were fully restored, it beat its elegant wings to scoop N onto its back, before exhaling a massive, hyper-compressed orb of fire.

As the gargantuan fireball hurtled toward Black Kyurem, the frozen dragon snapped its jaws wide, expelling a torrential blast of blackish-blue electricity. The generator engine along its tail vented high-voltage currents, violently accelerating the expansion of the dark permafrost spires across the basin.

The two cataclysmic forces collided, whipping up a violent concussive gale that was smoothly neutralized by Shadow Lugia's climate manipulation. Though revered as the Lord of the Ocean Currents, Shadow Lugia possessed absolute command over the localized weather patterns of the mortal realm.

Meanwhile, outside the perimeter.

"Master Drayden, Clan Leader Feng Che is currently locked in combat against that Black Kyurem. Do we send in reinforcement units?!"

"Exactly! The Clan Leader is fighting a desperate battle entirely on his own, while our Dragon Clan is just standing around here, completely useless!"

"I request permission to join the combat zone alongside Clan Leader Feng Che! I am more than willing to contribute my meager strength to the frontline!"

The gathered members of the Dragon Clan frantically swarmed Drayden, begging for deployment orders.

"Our absolute priority remains establishing a full defensive front to halt this oncoming avalanche," Drayden commanded with unyielding gravity. "The sheer kinetic momentum of this slide is catastrophic. If our Opelucid City defense line buckles, the devastation will crash straight into the ancestral Dragon's Den behind us."

"Clan Leader Feng Che's combat parameters are exceptionally immense; there is absolutely no need to worry about his personal safety. At a critical hour like this, I expect everyone to pull together as one."

"Before the Clan Leader departed, he explicitly instructed us to remain steady. He assured us he would personally handle the rogue Kyurem," Drayden declared loudly to the anxious clan members. "Holding this position to neutralize the avalanche is far more critical than throwing ourselves into a battlefield we cannot comprehend."

There was one final truth that Drayden kept securely buried within his heart: This territory is the absolute root of the Dragon Clan. If a clan leader falls, we can always choose a successor. But if our ancestral roots are completely erased, the Dragon Clan ceases to exist entirely.

Back within the barrier, Black Kyurem unleashed a massive, structural wave of blackish-blue electricity. The currents ripped across the terrain with such terrifying kinetic force that they nearly cleaved the mountain range in two.

The volatile lightning coursed wildly across the earth, several stray spires tracking straight toward the coordinates of Team Plasma's remaining flagships.

Boom! Rumble!

The advanced flagships of the Seven Sages took the brunt of the electrical discharge, massive structural fractures tearing across the hulls of the heavy vessels. Caught in the sudden violent upheaval, the five Sages currently warring against Vio lost their footing, crashing heavily onto the deck.

The vast majority of their deployed Pokémon sustained catastrophic structural damage, dozens of them dropping to the floor entirely incapacitated.

"What on earth is happening?! Why is the sky filled with such terrifying, dark lightning?"

"Could Lord Ghetsis have achieved absolute success? Did he successfully utilize the DNA Splicers to awaken Black Kyurem?"

"We need to bring a definitive end to this miserable battle right now!" the Sages barked in sheer frustration, their eyes fixed anxiously on the darkening horizon.
