"Black Kyurem... I never expected Ghetsis to actually have a second set of DNA Splicers in his grasp."
"This is bad, Feng Che is in danger!"
"Go, Kommo-o! Show no mercy—use a standard strike!" Vio bellowed.
The Scaled Pokémon drew back its fist and swung it forward with immense force. Instantly, a barrage of fist phantoms erupted, launching a nearby Liepard flying across the field.
Back inside the barrier, Feng Che realized his strategy had backfired. Damn it, Primal Dialga's Roar of Time ended up producing the exact opposite effect. Kyurem's consciousness was now completely suppressing Zekrom's will, driving the fusion into a much more cohesive state.
Black Kyurem let out a deafening roar, raising its heavily armored arm to slash violently in Feng Che's direction. Three gargantuan claws of energy detached from its hand, fracturing into an countless multitude of smaller, cutting fragments midair.
Shadow Lugia whipped its wings, expelling a massive Aeroblast from the heavens. The colossal shockwave of exploding air currents violently intercepted the trajectory, successfully diffusing and weakening the raw kinetic power of the incoming claws.
Immediately after, Primal Dialga's Roar of Time struck the residual energy fragments. The luminous claws instantly disintegrated into harmless motops of fading white light, vanishing into thin air.
"Excellent job, Shadow Lugia, Primal Dialga! Your tactical synergy was absolutely flawless!" Feng Che praised.
Right at that exact moment, Reshiram's assault hammered directly into Black Kyurem. A torrential downpour of stark white fire cascaded from the heavens, clinging tightly to Black Kyurem's hide.
The blistering heat forced a pained, guttural shriek from the frozen dragon. It opened its jaws wide, expelling an infinite deluge of absolute-zero ice fire. The sub-zero frost neutralized the burning white flames, rapidly extinguishing the fire ravaging its skin.
Sensing that it was being systematically pressured and cornered, Black Kyurem turned on its heel. It broke into a manic sprint, charging straight down the mountain slopes.
"Oh no, Black Kyurem is trying to break out! Mewtwo, use maximum-power Zen Headbutt!" Feng Che commanded frantically. If Black Kyurem managed to breach the perimeter and reach the foothills of Opelucid City, the resulting devastation to the civilian population would be catastrophic.
An infinite reservoir of raw telekinetic force bled out from Mewtwo's frame. The sheer density of the psychic parameters radiating from its body made the Genetic Pokémon appear like an absolute, untouchable deity.
Mewtwo channeled the raw energy, unleashing a crushing telekinetic tempest that condensed into a gargantuan, phantom hammer, before slamming it ruthlessly onto Black Kyurem.
The overwhelming telekinetic mass pinned Black Kyurem flat against the earth, the bedrock beneath its weight sinking into a deep, jagged crater. Hairline structural fractures began to web rapidly across the dragon's supposedly indestructible hide.
Mewtwo truly deserves its reputation as the ultimate combat weapon in existence. To inflict that level of structural damage on an entity like Black Kyurem is an unbelievable feat, Feng Che thought in sheer awe.
"Come on back, Mewtwo," Feng Che said softly, catching sight of Mewtwo's swaying, exhausted figure.
Mewtwo telekinetically tore open a localized dimensional rift, preparing to return to Shaymin's Garden of Life. "Feng Che, I have funneled the absolute last of my residual psychic reserves into reinforcing the isolation barrier. The psychic shield should be able to maintain its structural integrity for another ten minutes at most," it warned under its breath before drifting into the portal.
"Shaymin, please initiate full-spectrum recovery protocols for Mewtwo immediately. I need it restored to peak combat capability as quickly as possible," Feng Che directed via telepathy, communicating with the Gratitude Pokémon inside his internal realm.
Primal Dialga descended from the heavens, heavy waves of silver-white chronal energy rippling across its diamond armor. It lunged forward, executing an Iron Claw strike aimed straight at Black Kyurem. Black Kyurem met the advance head-on, swinging its own armored dragon claw to parry the strike.
BANG!
The two colossal claws collided in a blinding explosion of kinetic sparks. Both dragons channeled every ounce of their physical parameters, attempting to overpower and crush the other through sheer brute force.
But right at that exact millisecond, Shadow Lugia's secondary assault arrived. The Lord of the Shadow Currents beat its dark wings, unleashing an Aeroblast that detonated in a cascading sequence right across Black Kyurem's spine.
Suffering catastrophic internal damage from the blast, Black Kyurem staggered backward several paces. It snapped its jaws open, discharging a chaotic torrent of black electricity alongside an infinite column of absolute-zero ice fire. The cryogenic frost crackled with dark static electricity, rapidly growing into a massive field of jagged, electrified permafrost spires that aggressively reclaimed the basin.
"Watch out for that trajectory, Primal Dialga!" Feng Che called out.
Primal Dialga remained locked in a fierce, close-quarters grapple against the rogue dragon, their massive frames colliding repeatedly with bone-shattering impacts. Slowly but surely, however, Primal Dialga began to lose its footing under the sheer density of Black Kyurem's elemental output.
"Primal Dialga, use Roar of Time!"
Feng Che intended to utilize the chronal beam to forcefully trigger a de-fusion between Kyurem and Zekrom once more. However, Black Kyurem sharply tilted its massive head, causing the Roar of Time to miss its mark entirely, the beam streaking harmlessly past its ears.
Wow, missing the shot from a point-blank range like that... Primal Dialga's spatial depth perception must be seriously compromised right now, Feng Che thought, thoroughly speechless.
Up in the air, Reshiram beat its elegant wings, pooling an immense reservoir of thermal energy to condense a gargantuan Fire Blast. The incandescent orb, radiating the blinding brilliance of a miniature sun, hurtled straight toward Black Kyurem. Primal Dialga and Shadow Lugia calculated the trajectory, smoothly backing away to clear the blast zone.
The ice spires lining Black Kyurem's spine flashed with a sinister, pitch-black light. Opening its maw, the dragon expelled an immense column of absolute-zero air. The advancing Fire Blast was frozen solid mid-flight inside a massive block of ice, even as jagged lines of black lightning began to web and short-circuit through the frozen sphere.
Leveraging the visual cover, Black Kyurem immediately broke into another sprint, hurtling down the mountain slopes toward the foothills. The exact millisecond the frozen Fire Blast collided with the earth, it violently detonated, unleashing a massive wave of white-hot fire accompanied by a piercing radiance that illuminated the horizon.
Meanwhile, outside the failing barrier, the clan members noticed the cataclysmic disturbance.
"Look over there! There's a colossal entity moving along the ridges of the Ice Mountain range!"
"No way... Is that Kyurem? It looks completely different from the ancient records!"
"How can the mountain range produce such a terrifying glare? What on earth is happening up there?!"
Having successfully utilized the Dragon Flute to summon the native Dragon-type Pokémon from the depths of the den, the members of the Dragon Clan stared at the flashing horizon in sheer bewilderment.
This is bad... Black Kyurem has completely breached the structural limits of Mewtwo's psychic barrier. If the outside world catches sight of the multiple Legendary Pokémon under my command, the global scrutiny will be unmanageable.
Just as Feng Che hesitated, debating whether to order his partners to withdraw from the collapsing perimeter, a massive wave of blue telekinetic energy erupted across Black Kyurem's frame. The rogue dragon was violently and seamlessly dragged backward through space, snapping right back to its original position in the center of the basin.
Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing? Black Kyurem thought, its mind blank. It had been a mere step away from reaching the absolute base of the mountain, only to find itself yanked straight back into the familiar hellscape. For the first time, a trace of acute panic bled into the dragon's eyes.
"Now, N! Let us combine our parameters to deliver the definitive, final blow to Black Kyurem!" Feng Che directed via telepathy, linking his mind with N's.
"Primal Dialga, use Roar of Time! Shadow Lugia, use Aeroblast!"
"Reshiram, fire your maximum-output Fire Blast!"
Primal Dialga expelled a massive, pitch-black chronal beam that collided and fused seamlessly with Shadow Lugia's Aeroblast vortex. Reshiram's oncoming Fire Blast absorbed the unified parameters of the two Legendary entities, expanding exponentially as its core morphed from a blazing solar red into a terrifying, absolute-pitch-black star.
Sensing the apocalyptic threat bearing down on its vessel, Black Kyurem had no choice but to exhale an infinite sequence of heavy ice pillars, attempting to halt the descent of the pitch-black star.
Yet, no matter what specialized techniques or elemental currents it unleashed, its attacks were instantly swallowed and consumed by the advancing orb. The pitch-black Fire Blast ballooned to a colossal scale, slamming squarely into Black Kyurem's chassis before detonating in a blinding wave of dark energy.
Boom! Rumble!
Down at the foothills, the members of the Dragon Clan felt a terrifying, world-shaking tremor ripple through the solid earth beneath their feet.
