Agnus froze for a moment.
Then suddenly—
"Kehehehehe!"
He burst into loud laughter.
"I see! Then come!" Agnus shouted.
The ground trembled.
Dark energy began to spread across the area.
One by one, terrifying undead began to appear.
A Death Knight stepped forward first.
Behind it, a Lich appeared, followed by many other lower-class undead.
The air instantly turned cold with the presence of death.
From the distance, Mercedes' eyes narrowed as she watched the scene unfold.
'So, this was his urgent matter' She thought.
**
"As expected of a hidden class. Others only have one Death Knight, while you have both a Death Knight and a Lich," Alan said as he looked at the undead.
Both of them were like his own undead.
They could grow like NPCs, and even become Super Named NPCs depending on the bones used to create them. From the golden name above the Death Knight, it was clear that it was at the level of a Super Named NPC.
"Kekeke… are you afraid now?" Agnus asked.
Alan simply smiled.
"No. Now it's getting more interesting," he said as he activated Holy Swordsmanship.
A gentle but oppressive radiance spread from his body.
Golden light flowed along the blade of Iyarugt, transforming the crimson sword into something that looked like a divine weapon forged for judgment.
The moment the light appeared, the undead army reacted violently.
The Lich's skull flickered with dark flames, while the Death Knight instinctively stepped forward, raising its greatsword in defense.
A notification appeared before Alan.
[Holy attribute has been applied to your sword attacks.]
[Damage against undead increased by 60%.]
Alan rolled his shoulders slightly.
The holy aura condensed around his blade like flowing wings of light.
Meanwhile, Agnus' expression darkened.
"…Holy power?"
Agnus' smile twisted.
"Kekek… you came prepared."
He raised his staff.
"Kill him."
The Death Knight moved first.
Boom!
The ground cracked beneath its step as it lunged forward with terrifying speed, its massive sword descending toward Alan's head.
But Alan didn't move.
He simply raised his sword slightly.
"Radiant Link."
In an instant—
Thirty flashes of light exploded forward.
Shhhk—Shhhk—Shhhk—Shhhk—!
Holy blades struck the Death Knight repeatedly like machine-gun fire made of light.
[750% Attack Power × 30 Hits]
Golden impacts tore across the undead knight's armor.
Holy flames ignited across its body as holy burn stacks rapidly accumulated.
The Death Knight was forced backward several steps.
From the distance, Mercedes' looked at his battle.
'Thirty consecutive strikes… in a single second?'
Even among the Red Knights, that level of burst technique was rare.
Meanwhile, Agnus' eyes burned with madness.
"Kehahaha! Interesting!"
He slammed his staff into the ground.
"Rise."
The ground trembled.
Dozens—then hundreds—of undead began emerging from the earth.
Skeleton warriors.
Dullahan cavalry.
Dark mages.
An entire undead legion.
Alan sighed slightly.
"Seriously?"
He raised his sword again.
Golden light condensed around him.
"Then let's clean this up first."
He stepped forward.
"Sanctified Bloom."
Slash—
The sword cut through the air.
And suddenly—
Thousands of petal-shaped blades of light burst outward.
Like falling flowers of judgment.
Shhhhhhhh—
Each petal curved through the air and struck the undead army.
Every impact burned with holy light.
Undead soldiers collapsed one after another as Sanctification marks stacked rapidly.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions of holy power erupted across the battlefield.
Agnus' laughter slowly stopped.
His eyes widened slightly.
'What…?'
Even the Lich stepped back.
The holy energy flooding the battlefield was overwhelming.
Alan rested the sword casually on his shoulder.
Golden petals still floated around him.
His eyes locked onto Agnus.
"Now."
He pointed the glowing blade at him.
"Let's see how strong the famous Necromancer of Satisfy really is."
"Kekeke… interesting. Very interesting," Agnus said as he activated the Rune of Death.
[Tarant's Swordsmanship activated.]
Just like Alan possessed the Rune of Predation, Agnus also had a rune—the Rune of Death. In the original timeline, he had been the first player to acquire a rune, but in this altered reality, Alan had obtained his own first.
Agnus' Rune of Death allowed him to use the power of any undead-type being he killed or any undead under his command.
Such was the source of Tarant's Swordsmanship, a technique he had acquired from a powerful Death Knight.
Agnus pulled out his sword and smiled.
"Then come at me."
He moved forward with his Death Knight, while the Lich remained behind, chanting dark magic.
"Now this is interesting," Alan said.
He opened his inventory and quickly switched equipment, pulling out the Hellfire Staff.
"What?" Agnus stared in confusion.
Alan calmly raised the staff.
A fireball formed.
Then another.
And another.
Soon five fireballs floated in the air around him, created through the effect of his Mumud Fire Magic that allow him to shape magic as his imagination and with the amount of mana he have, his imagination can run wild.
"Did you really think I was only a swordsman? I am also Dual Class player." Alan said with a grin.
He had changed his armor set instantly, switching to Braham Magic set he have boosting his magic damage even more.
'Though I have powerful swordsmanship now, there's still someone watching…'
Alan could clearly sense Mercedes observing the battle thanks to his Heavenly Eyes.
'She's watching this fight.'
Because of that, Alan deliberately did not use his Undefeated King Swordsmanship.
For now, he would keep that ability hidden.
Instead—
He pointed the Hellfire Staff forward.
The five fireballs began spinning faster.
Agnus' grin widened.
"Oh?"
Dark energy erupted from his sword.
"Then let's see whether your magic…"
"...or Your swordsmanhip was stronger."
Alan smiled faintly.
"Why choose?"
The five fireballs spinning around him suddenly compressed, shrinking from basketball-sized flames into dense spheres of blazing crimson.
The temperature of the battlefield rose instantly.
Even the ground beneath Alan's feet began to scorch.
Then—
He swung the Hellfire Staff.
"Go."
Boom!
The fireballs shot forward like cannons of flame.
But they didn't fly straight.
Under Alan's control through Mumud's Fire Magic, the flames curved and split mid-air like living creatures.
One shot toward the Death Knight.
Two targeted the Lich.
The remaining two rushed directly toward Agnus.
Agnus laughed loudly.
"Kekekeke! Good!"
The Death Knight stepped forward and swung its massive sword.
Boom!
Dark energy exploded outward, destroying the incoming fireball with a violent collision.
But the moment it did—
Slash!
Alan had already moved.
He blurred forward with terrifying speed, switching weapons mid-dash as Iyarugt appeared in his hand.
